A bumblebee with a fir jacket. A one legged Piper. This poor little guy is missing a leg. I thought he had it tucked under his feathers but unfortunately for him, its completely gone. He seems healthy and well fed so no need to pity. He’s always on this same rock every evening. Spring visitation from a skinny badger foraging for food. I’ve crossed paths with this same badger several times over the years.
